Applicants sought for Clyde boards Print

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill positions on the following three boards:

  • Clyde Zoning Board of Adjustments – One vacancy for a      representative from the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the Town      of Clyde; and one vacancy for an alternate member. Each term is for three      years.
  • Clyde Planning Board – One vacancy for a representative from the      Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the Town of Clyde for a three-year      term; and one vacancy for an alternate member for two years.

Application forms may be downloaded from the Online Services section of the county website, www.haywoodnc.net; or picked up from the County Manager’s Office, Haywood County Courthouse, Third Floor, 215 North   Main Street, Waynesville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Candace Way, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Board applicants may be interviewed by the Board of Commissioners. Interviews are typically held on the third Monday afternoon of the month, prior to the regularly scheduled commissioners meeting at 5:30 p.m.
